Welcome to the Medina County Technical Rescue Team's website. Here you'll find information on the developments of the Medina County Technical Rescue Team. This web site is just one way we begin to create the Medina County Technical Rescue Team. TROT, or Technical Rescue and Operations Team, has a goal of providing the necessary skills and equipment to handle the emergency situations that fall into the extremes of rescue operations. In other words, Medina County needs properly equipped and trained people who can react quickly to situations such as:

• High-angle rope rescue
• Low-angle rope rescue
• Confined space rescue
• Water rescue
• Trench rescue
• Wild land search and rescue

While technical rescue teams exist in surrounding counties, time is of the essence and waiting for them can consume critical minutes. It is imperative that Medina County build it's own Technical Rescue and Operations Team as this could save the lives of both the victims and the rescuers.
